Hardware Engineer
My client, an SME clean-tech company based in Central London, is transforming how the UK manages energy efficiency, with 60,000+ devices already deployed and a fleet that's growing fast.
We're looking for a Hardware Engineer to join their mission of improving carbon efficiency across industry - and the timing couldn't be better, with new government regulations creating massive demand for their solutions.
You'll be working as the sole hardware design engineer, working with a tight-knit, multi-disciplinary engineering team to bring their new products to life. This is a great role that can offer full technical ownership while giving full the candidate autonomy in how they work.
We're Looking For:
4-6 years experience as an electronics/hardware engineer
Experience with microprocessors, communication protocols, wireless protocols, and sensor integration
Complete lifecycle knowledge: Design prototyping testing certification
Evidence of gaining regulatory approval - EMC, safety, environmental, etc.
Some software skills: Python/C for test automation and manufacturing support
Problem-solving mindset: Comfortable debugging complex hardware/software integration issues
What's on offer:
Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience great benefits including;

Flexibility around hybrid working & start/finish times - can the work be done from home? Go for it, although there will be times when you'll be needed on-site to get hands on with the hardware.
