Lead Embedded Software Engineer

The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary software team. You’ll lead a small sub-team while contributing directly to embedded software design and development across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their development and delivery.
  • Act as technical lead within cross-functional project teams.
  • Design and develop embedded software for radar, IoT, and communication systems.
  • Contribute to process improvement and technology strategy.

About You

You’ll be an experienced embedded software engineer who enjoys balancing technical depth with people leadership.

You’re likely to have:

  • Experience in C/C++ for embedded systems (bare metal, RTOS, or Linux).
  • Broad understanding of drivers, DSP, algorithms, and communication protocols.
  • Previous team leadership or line management experience.
  • Excellent communication and delivery focus.
