Lead .NET Developer – On-Site (Sheffield) – Up to £60,000

We’re hiring for a full-time, on-site Lead .NET Developer position with a well-established, award-winning UK company headquartered just outside Sheffield.
What You’ll Do
- Lead by example in a hands-on coding environment (80% development)
- Drive technical decisions, code standards, and software architecture
- Work on transformational projects including platform migration, API build-outs, and new customer-facing systems
- Provide on-site support and leadership to a growing team of developers
- Collaborate with both internal and offshore teams
Tech You’ll Use
- Backend: .NET Core, MVC, SQL Server
- Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git
- Other: Headless CMS, legacy platform integrations, occasional Flutter (internal use)
What We’re Looking For
- Senior/Lead-level .NET developer with strong architectural and DevOps awareness
- Solid experience in React (Next.js a plus, not essential)
- Comfortable working full-time on-site (non-negotiable)
- Confident communicator and natural mentor
- Ready to step into a leadership role or continue leading in a hands-on environment
