Lead .NET Developer – On-Site (Sheffield) – Up to £60,000

We’re hiring for a full-time, on-site Lead .NET Developer position with a well-established, award-winning UK company headquartered just outside Sheffield.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead by example in a hands-on coding environment (80% development)
  • Drive technical decisions, code standards, and software architecture
  • Work on transformational projects including platform migration, API build-outs, and new customer-facing systems
  • Provide on-site support and leadership to a growing team of developers
  • Collaborate with both internal and offshore teams

Tech You’ll Use

  • Backend: .NET Core, MVC, SQL Server
  • Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
  • Infrastructure: Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git
  • Other: Headless CMS, legacy platform integrations, occasional Flutter (internal use)

What We’re Looking For

  • Senior/Lead-level .NET developer with strong architectural and DevOps awareness
  • Solid experience in React (Next.js a plus, not essential)
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site (non-negotiable)
  • Confident communicator and natural mentor
  • Ready to step into a leadership role or continue leading in a hands-on environment
