Location: Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire (Fully On-Site)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + benefits

About the Company

Our client is a long-established property maintenance and refurbishment contractor working with housing associations, councils, and public sector clients across London and the South East.

They employ around 250 people, including over 100 operatives delivering day-to-day repairs, planned maintenance, and large-scale refurbishment projects.

The business is entering an exciting digital transformation phase, investing heavily in automation and technology to streamline operations and drive efficiency as they grow. Their in-house development team plays a key role in this – creating smarter systems, improving communication processes, and developing new tools that make a real impact.

The Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join the company’s growing in-house development team.

You’ll work across a variety of projects that aim to automate and optimise how the business operates – from job scheduling and workflow automation to AI-powered tenant communication systems.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with the Senior Developer and key stakeholders to design, build, and implement solutions that directly improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain .NET / .NET Core applications and APIs
  • Integrate internal systems, including Microsoft Dynamics
  • Build and maintain internal tools and front-end portals using React
  • Support the automation of key business processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software

Tech Stack

  • C# / .NET Framework / .NET Core
  • React (front-end)
  • Python (for automation tools)
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • RESTful APIs and integrations

Experience with Dynamics is not essential – full training will be provided.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in .NET development (2–5 years)
  • Confident working on both back-end and front-end systems
  • A clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies
  • Motivated to contribute to meaningful projects and continuous improvement

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
  • Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch)
  • Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays (plus 1 extra day every 5 years)

Interview Process

  • Initial interview with the Senior Developer and IT Manager (includes a short 15–20 min coding task)
