Senior Support Analyst - Wholesale (1-Year FTC)
We're looking for a Senior Support Analyst to join a high-performing IT team supporting critical wholesale applications in a global insurance environment. This is a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, business-facing support functions. Experience in the insurance sector-particularly within the Lloyd's market-is highly advantageous.
What you'll do
You'll be at the heart of application support-keeping systems stable, stakeholders informed, and services continuously improving.
- Own incident triage, investigation, and resolution for business-critical systems
- Support releases, deployments, and change processes end-to-end
- Automate and optimise operational processes through scripting
- Monitor system health and proactively prevent issues
- Manage access requests, controls, and security compliance
- Collaborate with vendors, service owners, and business stakeholders
- Drive documentation, service improvements, and operational excellence
What you bring
- Strong experience in application support within a financial services or regulated environment
- Exposure to the insurance sector (Lloyd's market experience a strong advantage)
- Hands-on SQL and scripting skills
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. LogicMonitor, Redgate or similar)
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices and service lifecycles
- Proven ability to handle major incidents and stakeholder communication under pressure
- A proactive mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
