Cyber Senior Underwriter

We are looking for a Cyber Senior Underwriter to join our growing UK & Ireland team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Underwriter ready to step up into a Senior Underwriter role, or an existing Senior Underwriter looking for their next challenge.

The role

As a Cyber Senior Underwriter, you will:

• Develop and maintain a profitable cyber insurance portfolio aligned to business plans.

• Drive new business development, supporting strategy, projects and innovation within the team.

• Provide technical expertise, oversight and support to junior team members.

• Build strong broker and client relationships across the UK and London markets.

• Represent the business at industry events, enhancing our market presence.

• Underwrite risks, evaluate exposures and set premiums within your authority.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams (claims, risk consulting, compliance, finance, etc.) to deliver a strong proposition.

• Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in cyber underwriting.

• Strong technical knowledge of underwriting, risk assessment and insurance market practices.

• Excellent broker and client relationship management skills.

• Confident decision-making, negotiation and communication abilities.

• ACII qualified (or working towards).

• A proactive, positive mindset with the ability to innovate and embrace change.
