Mainframe Developer

Role; Mainframe CICS Developer

Location: London – Hybrid

Project Type; Inside IR35 Contract

• hands on experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, with proven expertise in batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP) environments
• Solid experience in application support, with a good understanding of Incident and Problem Management processes, along with the ability to contribute to software development and enhancement activities
• Familiarity with industry-standard mainframe toolsets, development methodologies, and operational processes
• Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets
• A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems
• Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
