Senior Product Designer (AI experiences) (m/f/d)

Purpose of Position

Are you excited by designing intelligent, AI-powered experiences that genuinely help customers? We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of AI features across our platform, with a strong focus on evolving our AI chatbot and conversational interfaces.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping how AI shows up in our product, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to design responsible, human-centred AI experiences. From discovery through to release, you’ll define how users interact with LLM-powered systems, ensuring outputs are useful, transparent, and aligned to real customer needs.

Our team is a group of smart, collaborative humans building meaningful experiences at scale.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading discovery for AI-driven features, identifying high-value use cases for LLM integration
  • Designing conversational flows, prompts, and interaction patterns for our AI chatbot
  • Translating complex AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy user experiences
  • Prototyping AI interactions, including edge cases and failure states
  • Partnering closely with Engineering and Data teams to understand model behaviour, constraints, and trade-offs
  • Defining success metrics for AI experiences, including usability, trust, and effectiveness
  • Evaluating AI outputs and iterating based on user testing and real-world feedback
  • Contributing to emerging AI design principles, patterns, and governance within the organisation
  • Mentoring other designers and contributing to design system evolution where AI components are introduced

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products
  • Deep understanding of human-centred design principles and the ability to translate complex business and user needs into clear, actionable solutions
  • Experience designing AI-powered or data-driven features, ideally including LLM-based systems and conversational interfaces
  • Strong grasp of interaction design, information architecture, visual communication, and content-led design principles
  • Ability to design for ambiguity, edge cases, and probabilistic AI outputs while maintaining clarity and trust
  • Experience collaborating closely with Engineering and Data teams, understanding technical constraints and trade-offs
  • Confidence in prototyping and testing AI interactions, including prompts, flows, and failure states
  • Solid research capability, including usability testing and evaluating AI-driven experiences
