Senior Product Designer (m/f/d)
Purpose of Position
Are you looking to make an impact and help shape the user experience for our customers across the globe? We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join Awin in our mission to help customers grow their business online.You'll become a vital part of our UX team, helping to lead design and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to deliver excellence in user experience. You'll be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to release, championing for users and creating human-centred solutions.Our team is a bunch of lovely, smart and dedicated humans. What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Co-leading human-centred discovery with Product teams, identifying user context and the right problems to solve
- Providing holistic evaluations of existing designs to identify high-value improvement areas
- Mapping user journeys and processes, identifying key steps and pain points within the broader context of product and experience strategy
- Collaborating closely with other disciplines, creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and advanced prototypes
- Co-leading with the development teams for seamless implementation
- Creating metrics for success of the design work
- Leading crits and feedback sessions, giving feedback to others
- Mentoring other team members
- Actively contributing to design system
- Comfortably facilitating discovery and design sessions, using broad range of tool and techniques to run effective and inspiring workshops resulting in clear outcomes
- Creating and delivering design presentations, emphasising rationale through storytelling to stakeholders?
Your Skills:
- Experience working as a Senior Product Designer with a strong portfolio of shipped work
- Excellent understanding of human-centred design principles and best practices
- Ability to identify and understand business and user needs, translating complex problems into concise problem statements
- Capability to effectively collaborate with other disciplines to create multiple design solutions, backed by solid rationale and insights, to help stakeholders understand the benefits of design
- Excellent understanding of the principles of interaction design, information architecture best practices, visual communication, and design psychology
- In-depth comprehension of content-led design and its impact on interface design
- Ability to rapidly wireframe, design interfaces the elevate our brand, and create advanced prototypes
- Experience in research, including heuristic evaluation, competitor research, and user testing
- Ability to actively seek and provide feedback to improve your own work and the work of others
- Great understanding and practice of agile methodologies and their application in a cross-functional team
- Excellent knowledge and consideration for website development and working within tech constraints
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, using effective storytelling techniques to communicate your design decisions
