Senior IT Support Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior IT Support Analyst to join our headquarters in London. You will primarily be working on desktop support and providing assistance to both in-house and remote traders. This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring someone who can thrive under pressure and is eager to learn and expand on their career. A minimum 4 years experience in an IT role is preferable, we are open to candidates with a solid understanding of technology and a willingness to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate 1st/2nd & 3rd line IT support to traders and staff, resolving technical issues quickly and efficiently
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications
  • Monitor and maintain desktops, laptops, and network systems
  • Troubleshoot application, system, and network issues and resolve hardware/software faults
  • Produce clear procedural documentation and incident reports
  • Support the rollout of new applications or hardware
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, and access permissions
  • Test and evaluate new technologies to enhance trading performance and reliability
  • Provide leading support for the IT team

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum 4 years of IT Support experience within a trading firm (proprietary trading, hedge fund, brokerage, or investment bank)
  • Proven experience supporting traders or trading desks in a live market environment
  • Familiarity with trading floor technologies such as trading platforms, market data systems, and low-latency or voice recording setups
  • Strong Windows administration skills and experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Proactive problem solver with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • ITIL knowledge (desired but not required)
  • Team player capable of working autonomously while escalating appropriately when required
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and learning

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Knowledge of trading platforms and financial market software.
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals).
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and VPNs for remote support.
  • Interest in audio and visuals.
