Smart Metering Architect

Long term Contract - We are currently seeking two experienced Smart Metering Architects to join our dynamic team for a 6-month contract based in Saudi Arabia.

Job Description: As a Smart Metering Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing end-to-end smart metering solutions. You will be responsible for understanding the entire business process and components involved, from the smart meter to the concentrators, head-end system, Meter Data Management (MDM), and Billing systems. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our smart metering infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end smart metering solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document the architecture of smart metering systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on the integration of smart meters, concentrators, head-end systems, MDM, and Billing systems.
• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the smart metering infrastructure.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in smart metering and energy management.
• Support the development and implementation of best practices and standards for smart metering solutions.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Smart Metering Architect or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and components in smart metering systems.
  • Knowledge of smart meters, concentrators, head-end systems, MDM, and Billing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
