Principal Solutions Architect

PRINCIPAL SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

We are seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join a professional services team delivering strategic implementation and architecture guidance for enterprise data platforms. This role involves working directly with clients at every stage of their journey to ensure technical success and business value. Ideal candidates will bring deep technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and a passion for driving outcomes through modern data platform solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Engage directly with enterprise clients, either individually or as part of a technical delivery team

● Advise and oversee implementation of modern data platform solutions with a focus on Snowflake

● Demonstrate hands-on technical leadership by writing code, building solution architectures, and providing implementation guidance

● Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, offering strategic input and architectural insight

● Translate business requirements into scalable and well-architected solutions

● Develop forward-looking roadmaps and best practice recommendations

● Decompose long-term goals into actionable delivery plans

● Collaborate cross-functionally with product and go-to-market teams to align client success with broader platform objectives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

● 15+ years in roles such as Solutions Architect, Data Architect, Database Administrator, or Data Engineer

● 15+ years of technical consulting experience

● Track record of leading enterprise analytics or data platform projects

● Hands-on experience with Snowflake platform solutions

● Strong understanding of end-to-end data architecture, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and business intelligence tools

● Experience with SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark in data engineering or analytics contexts

● Familiarity with large-scale data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Greenplum, Netezza, etc.)

● Expertise in data security design and access control, particularly within Snowflake

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Experience in the services organization of a product company

● Experience in a leadership position executing technical projects

● Industry vertical expertise (Media, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc)

● Application Development experience

● AWS, Google or Microsoft Cloud certification(s)

● Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Certification(s)
