ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are an established IT organisation providing a comprehensive, fully integrated suite of web-based "Software as a Service" (SaaS) solutions to Property Management companies and Managing Agents.

The business is growing its market presence and expanding the breadth of services and functionality offered. Due to this continued growth, we are now looking to bring additional developers into the team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer who will work closely across the organisation to support and further develop our core software platform. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the existing web system, leveraging your technical expertise, coding ability, and practical understanding of business needs to support the company's growth plans.

This is a role where you will have direct impact and visibility. As you take on more responsibility and contribute to the organisation's success, you will share in that success.

This position is primarily remote / home-based.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Collaborating with Product Managers and the CTO to develop applications aligned with business strategy
  • Undertaking technical design, coding, unit testing, system testing, and solution deployment, including SQL/database and application design
  • Providing technical consulting expertise when needed
  • Assisting the Support team by offering technical backup where required
  • Keeping up to date with technology trends and industry best practices

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience coding, testing, and implementing highly available, scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS applications
  • Enjoy working as part of a smaller team where your work has a direct impact
  • Ability to create technical specifications, blueprints, or solutions-oriented project proposals (advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting software or experience in the property industry (beneficial but not required)
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter: confident, enthusiastic, and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced agile environment

TECH STACK

  • Backend: PHP (CodeIgniter 3 / Slim 4), MySQL
  • Frontend: React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
  • Tooling: GitLab, Docker, CI/CD Pipelines
  • Infrastructure (desirable): Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Mobile (desirable): React Native

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain full stack features
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
  • Collaborate with product managers and other developers
  • Contribute to improvements across DevOps, CI/CD, and containerised workflows
  • Assist with mobile app development as cross-platform capabilities expand
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with PHP, particularly CodeIgniter and Slim
  • Strong skills in React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of MySQL and database optimisation
  • Competence in HTML and CSS for responsive UI
  • Familiarity with GitLab and Docker
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience integrating AI into existing applications
  • Experience with React Native or similar mobile frameworks
  • Previous experience working on SaaS or B2B platforms
  • Understanding of Agile development workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
