Salary and Benefits (snapshot)
The salary banding for this role is £85,000 to £130,000 based on experience.

The Role
You will be working as a Principal Product Manager within a collection of data-driven, outcome led product leaders where user-centric design thinking is always front and centre. We work across a spectrum of client accounts, bringing lean-thinking and agility to ensure that things go faster in a controlled, well thought through, data driven manner that goes hand in hand with delivery excellence. We are Product people at heart and as a result are focused on our client’s user experiences, enabling the clients to and deliver incremental value rapidly and regularly, through continuous improvement, while always aiming for simplicity.
There is a requirement to be onsite in our central Leeds office 1 to 2 times a week. This can be discussed with your manager for full flexibility and can be restructured to best suit your needs, as well as some travel to client site (specific to client needs and requirements).
Responsibilities
· Lead multi‐product or portfolio‐level strategy across complex digital transformation programmes within client engagements.
· Shape product visions and multi‐year strategic roadmaps for clients at executive level.
· Build and scale product‐management practices across client engagements and use the learned experiences to enhance the Axiologik product practices / capabilities.
· Operate as a clear leader of the multi-disciplinary client-side team(s), ensuring rainbow teams are aligned behind a set of defined objectives and that the outcomes are met and well-managed.
· Engage with senior client stakeholders to influence at C‐suite/Director level.
· Work autonomously and deliver exceptional quality work without supervision
· Collaborate across Axiologik practices to shape cross-functional offerings and represent product capability across the business.
· Support Axiologik business growth and capability development through identification of new opportunities, bid support, client engagement, line management, mentoring and coaching of teams (both internal to Axiologik and within client engagements).
· Adapt your working patterns to fit client needs, including flexibility on location.
Experience

· Strong experience in digital product leadership with portfolio‐level P&L ownership.
· Proven track record leading large‐scale product portfolios or multi‐team delivery environments, including owning portfolio‐level P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, and commercial performance.
· Strong consulting experience with executive‐level stakeholder management.
· Mastery of agile product management, product‐strategy techniques, and value‐driven planning models such as value stream mapping.
· Experience shaping organisational agile product and delivery practices, frameworks, and governance models.
· Experience of GDS lifecycle and working in the government sector is a key expectation.
· Deep understanding of digital platforms, data ecosystems, and modern product‐development approaches.
· Demonstrated ability to identify and align complex stakeholder groups around strategic outcomes.
· Strong track record in defining product delivery strategies and sequencing roadmaps to maximise business outcome delivery, whilst also building out strategic product capabilities and managing product health.
· Strong knowledge of user-centred design practices and demonstrable experience of co-ordinating design teams in design-led, agile environments.
· Expertise in managing backlog and requirement prioritisation funnels in fast-paced & uncertain requirements, working with business stakeholders and (often rainbow) delivery teams to re-orient delivery plans to respond to emerging priorities.
· Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and shape new business opportunities.
· Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including exec‐level narrative framing.
· Ability to coach, mentor, and grow high‐performing product teams.
· High level of comfort in working in high paced, changing environments.

There will be a screening call with our Talent Partner, a first stage interview (virtual) and final stage (in person), with a short presentation involved. Our time to hire is typically 4 weeks from advertising but may go outside of this due to Bank Holidays, AL and client engagements.
