I'm delighted to be supporting one of the UK's leading healthcare technology providers with the appointment of a Project Manager to join their expanding PMO team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to deliver meaningful projects that have a direct impact on healthcare services across the UK.
Reporting into the Head of Governance & Projects, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects, programmes and workstreams, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget and to the highest governance standards. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, facilitate workshops and project meetings, oversee governance and reporting, and play an important role in preparing updates for Executive Leadership and Board meetings.
This is a broad, autonomous role offering exposure to projects spanning operations, IT, compliance, service delivery and continuous improvement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering change and influencing business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects, programmes and workstreams from initiation through to successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, project charters, RAID logs and governance documentation.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks and milestones.
- Prepare Executive and Board-level reporting.
- Facilitate workshops, steering groups and stakeholder meetings.
- Build strong relationships across operational, commercial and technical teams.
- Ensure consistent project governance and best practice across the PMO.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Desirable Experience
We're particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
- Experience managing complex projects or programmes from initiation through to delivery.
- Previous experience within the NHS, healthcare, healthcare technology or healthcare consultancy environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving Operations, IT, Compliance, Business Development or Service Delivery.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, including project plans, RAID logs, risk registers and executive reporting.
- Experience presenting project updates to senior leadership or Board-level stakeholders.
- Confidence facilitating workshops, steering groups and stakeholder meetings.
- Experience driving process improvement and embedding best practice across project delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across multiple business functions.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM, PMP or equivalent) would be advantageous but is not essential.
