BookkeeperLancaster - Hybrid working availableSalary: up to £50,000 (part qual/QBE candidates considered)We’re currently partnering with a rapidly growing technology business headquartered in Lancaster to support the appointment of a Bookkeeper/Finance Manager. This is a newly created role within a scaling business that has recently secured significant investment to support the next phase of its growth. The company operates within a fast-moving, innovative sector and offers a dynamic, collaborative working environment.As bookkeeper, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape and develop the finance function, playing a key role in both day-to-day operations and strategic financial planning.Key responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day financial management, reporting, and controls

• Oversee AP and AR functions, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Monitor and reconcile financial transactions with attention to detail
• Identify and resolve issues such as missing documentation (e.g., customer agreements)
• Support day-to-day finance operations with a proactive, structured approach

About You

• Adaptable and proactive—comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and excited by the challenge of helping build a business during a high-growth phase.
• Part-qualified accountant (or qualified by experience), with a solid grounding in core financial processes and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic sector.
