Management Accountant | Leeds | Up to £50,000 | Office Based | Technology Sector Axon Moore is proud to be working exclusively with a high-growth technology business based in Central Leeds, seeking to appoint a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their fast-paced finance team.This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has experienced rapid organic and subsidiary-led growth. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information, with the autonomy to make the role your own and contribute directly to commercial decision-making.Role Overview: As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering monthly management accounts, overseeing a small finance team, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to enhance financial insight and cost control. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment, perfect for someone looking to grow and take ownership.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts for a key business division
• Oversee a small finance team, ensuring deadlines and accuracy
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and P&L analysis
• Conduct variance analysis and update forecast models
• Develop cost reporting and challenge spend with department heads
• Balance sheet and control account reconciliations
• Complete VAT returns and maintain compliance

What We’re Looking For:

• Part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• 2+ years of experience in a similar Management Accountant or Finance Analyst role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical ability
• Experience with multi-site / cost centre reporting (desirable)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach
• Team player with a “sleeves rolled up” attitude
