Junior Product Manager (First Product Hire)
Company Description
Azoma is the category-defining "Agentic Commerce Optimization" company, helping the world's leading consumer brands such as Mars, Arla, Reckitt, Beiersdorf, L'Oréal, Barilla, Unilever, Philips, Nestle & more drive revenue through Shopping Agents such as Amazon Rufus / Alexa for Shopping, Walmart Sparky, ChatGPT & Gemini.
The role
This is our first product hire. You will work directly with the founding team and take end-to-end ownership of new product and business lines, starting with our new generative ads offering. You will help define what generative ads means for agentic commerce, shape the product from zero, and take it to market with our enterprise customers.
Day to day, you will gather and translate customer needs into clear requirements, own roadmap planning for your area, and coordinate across engineering, design, sales, and customer success to ship. You will analyse usage data and customer feedback, run experiments, prepare documentation and release notes, and contribute to go-to-market plans and product demos. You will track performance, spot opportunities, and iterate quickly.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate has product experience at a seed or Series A stage startup. You have built from zero, owned products end-to-end, and thrive in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment. You are a power user of AI tools and genuinely curious about how commerce is changing.
- Experience turning user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and workflows
- A track record of working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success to deliver
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable combining metrics, dashboards, and qualitative feedback to make decisions
- Understanding of SaaS, digital products, or e-commerce and retail technology; deep interest in AI and emerging commerce channels
- Clear, concise communication, able to present ideas and support internal and external stakeholders, including global enterprise clients
- Strong organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, engineering, marketing, or a related field
- UK-based with the right to work, and able to work from our West Hampstead office 3-5 days per week
- Proactive, curious, and holding yourself to the highest standards
