Our client, a well-established AJ100 practice with multiple offices across the UK, is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Technical Architect to join their London team. Known for delivering high-quality solutions across a wide portfolio, they are particularly active in the Mixed Use sector, including international projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Architect with a strong eye for detail and a practical approach to design and delivery. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a collaborative team, supporting projects from detailed design through to construction, ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities for this Technical Architect role:

  • Develop and produce detailed design and construction documentation, primarily using Revit, ensuring accuracy and coordination across all project disciplines.

  • Review design proposals to ensure compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, and client expectations.

  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions for design challenges.

  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to support technical coordination and delivery.

  • Assist in the preparation of tender and construction-stage information, maintaining design integrity through technical and commercial changes.

  • Conduct site inspections and surveys to inform technical design decisions and monitor construction progress.

  • Coordinate with in-house teams to produce high-quality technical drawings and supporting documentation.

  • Contribute to risk management, quality assurance, and compliance throughout all project stages.

Requirements for this Technical Architect role:

  • Experience working on complex projects, ideally in the residential, commercial, or mixed-use sectors.

  • Strong proficiency in Revit with hands-on experience producing detailed technical documentation (candidates may complete a Revit assessment as part of the interview process).

  • Excellent understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and technical design standards.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to team efforts.

  • High attention to technical detail and accuracy in all aspects of documentation and design.
