Job Title: Advanced Aerostructures FCAS Integration Engineer

Salary: 47,683.00 + depending upon skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
• The role requires working within an integration team within Advanced Aerostructures, facing the FCAS business and contract teams to engage and deliver on their requirements following the DDT&E delivery processes
• The role will require management of the Advanced Aerostructures (DDT&E) operating model and strategy and also promotion, definition and implementation of this strategy into the FCAS line of Business
• The role will require engagement with multiple stakeholders and contract teams across FCAS delivery, throughout the engineering task lifcycle from helping our Customers to develop their requirements, estimating, task mobilisation through to delivery, accountable for task delivery milestones and cost management of tasks for FCAS within Advanced Aerostructures
• The role will require management of tasks and delivery and also support to less experienced members of the team. The role will also involve close collaboration with all stakeholders within FCAS line of business and within the Advanced Aerostructures technical teams
• The role also includes a level of process and toolset ownership within AA (confluence and ETMS / Jira) to ensure progress tracking and information management is as effective as possible, with best practice sharing across the different Engineering Teams and Centres of Excellence within DDT&E

Your skills and experiences:
Essential :
• Experience of Engineering Integration with full engineering lifecycle awareness
• Engineering background in one of the following disciplines: Design structures, Low observables
• STEM/ Engineering degree or equivalent
• Able to drive the adoption of the ignition35 and the associated ETMS principles
Desirable :
• Concept or Future projects product and programme knowledge
• Leadership and people development

The Advanced Aerostructures Future Projects Integration Team is part of one of five Centres of Excellence, leading the transformation into new, agile ways of working across our business. As part of the Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) Service Delivery Unit, this team plays a pivotal role in delivering advanced engineering solutions into the Future Combat Air Systems (FCAS) line of business, specifically through our collaboration with FalconWorks®. Our mission is to shape the future of combat air capability by aligning engineering excellence with evolving project and stakeholder demands.
