Salary: £47,683+ Depending on skillset

Referral Scheme Bonus: £2000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support and co-ordinate activities to manage and implement the Air Sector Cyber Security Service from initiation to final transition into operational, business-as-usual management
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on the Cyber Services implementation and their operational activities
  • Ensure appropriate, effective, and comprehensive reporting and communication procedures are in place and followed for the services and their implementation project
  • Maintain an awareness of current technical developments that may provide opportunities to the Cyber Services
  • Ensure that the Services Implementation and Operation is delivered to realise agreed business benefits within agreed timescales
  • Support the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex Cyber Services projects with adoption of project management methods and tools
  • Ensure that effective project monitoring and control processes, change control, risk management and quality processes are employed and maintained
  • Support in monitoring and controlling resources, revenue and capital expenditures against the project budget
  • Builds and maintains relationships with senior stakeholders resolving issues over time and supporting planning and service delivery activities

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Experience of working in an IT function and relevant field
    • An understanding of emerging cyber requirements and industry best practices which will inform business transformation and operational delivery
    • Experience translating strategy and policy into process, procedure and deliverables
    • Experience of collaborating for success with key business stakeholders
    • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience

      Desirable:

      • Experience of working in a similar role or environment

        The Cyber and Information Security Team:

        You’ll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team at the forefront of Cyber and Information Security within the Air sector. Our mission is to support and embed emerging cyber requirements and industry best practices across business transformation and operational delivery. The team works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure cyber resilience throughout the supply chain, contributing directly to the secure delivery of critical Air sector programmes.
