Job Title: Data Analyst – Supply Chain
Location: Barrow-In-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Occasional travel to other BAE offices across the UK is expected and expensed.
Salary: From £37,091 depending on skills and experience
What You'll Be Doing
  • Creating analysis and insight on the performance and behaviour of the supply chain processes, utilising data obtained from a variety of computer systems
  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the function, programmes and IM&T to uncover valuable key insights required and optimal data to service it
  • Creating insight solutions using Excel, SAP Analytics Cloud and Tableau while developing your expertise in these platforms
  • Contributing to Supply Chain Excellence by supporting activities that deliver on People, Process & Technology, ensuring the Supply Chain function is fit for the future
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
  • Experience generating and publishing insight from corporate data
  • Good Excel and general Office application skills
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, gained within a large, distributed organisation
  • Good numerate academic qualifications
Desirable
  • Professional Supply Chain qualifications (eg CIPS) or equivalent Supply Chain experience
  • Exposure to Modern BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or other comparable BI tools

The Digital & Data Team
Be part of a small, collaborative digital & data team at the heart of Supply Chain Excellence, optimising a submarine supply chain that represents a major share of the UK defence budget.
