Frontend Developer

About The Role

Our agile team delivers a dynamic UI platform that supports high quality, integrating big data sets and analytics. We are looking for an engineer with strong JavaScript experience who can use the latest web technologies to build the next generation of our platform. Responsibilities will include:

• Work as a part of an agile development team in our product engineering group.
  • Design and develop key features of the JavaScript UI platform.
  • Elevate team understanding of geospatial analytics
    • Introduce new technologies and improve existing code.
      • Collaborate with other teams in design workshops.
        • Take full responsibility for development and work effectively with QA.
          • Improve practices and design principles.
            • Support application and client delivery teams.
              
              Skills and Experience
              
              Essential:
              
              • JavaScript (ES6), Node.js, HTML5, Polyfills, CSS, SASS, JSON
                • Frameworks: React, Redux, jQuery
                  • Other: Webpack, ESLint, Babel, Typechecking (Typescript or Flow)
                    
                    Desirable technologies:
                    
                    
                    • Highcharts, Cross Filters, Vis.js, Storybook
