Job title: Graduate Naval Ships Network Engineer
Location: Broad Oak (Hampshire) or New Malden (London)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
What you'll be doing:
• Working with Software, Systems and Hardware engineers, enabling the development of real-world systems that perfectly perform every time.
• Supporting the development and testing of network software and hardware releases whilst supporting and maintaining network technical design.
• Implementation of networks architecture and design.
• Contribution to addressing engineering issues on a programme and will encompass requirements evaluation and problem solving, engineering deliverable presentation.
• Engineering data information, meeting and briefing notes, report writing, presentation preparation, cost, schedule and risk analysis.
• Understanding networking topologies and technologies, understanding OSI L1 to L3, understanding networking principals and protocols such as LAN, VLAN WAN, MPLS, QoS, BGP, OSP, HTTP, TCP/ IP.

The Naval Ships team: we design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, giving the customer capability to fulfil operations around the world.
