Job title: Graduate Naval Ships Software Engineer
Location: Broad Oak (Hampshire)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
What you'll be doing:
You'll take responsibility for creating cutting edge software for our hardware and be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from design and development to integration. You'll work closely with both Electronic and Systems engineers, enabling the development of complex real-world systems.
• Producing software architectures and designs based on each ship's requirements.
• Implementation of requirements and design utilising a variety of programming languages and tools.
• Designing and development of software tests to prove several qualities including functionality, robustness, performance.
• Testing and integration of software and target hardware.
• Supporting of lifecycle and product maturity activities such as design reviews.

The Naval Ships team: we design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, giving the customer capability to fulfil operations around the world.
