Job title: Graduate Naval Ships Systems Engineer

Location: New Malden (London)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you'll be doing:
• Supporting development of strategies to ensure that systems are designed and integrated so that they satisfy the customer and business needs and requirements.
• Capturing and analysing requirements in order to understand the customer and business needs and context in which the system will be used.
• Supporting the design and optimisation of system architectures and solutions using system modelling techniques.
• Facilitating successful integration of systems whilst identifying and managing interface, dependencies and failures modes.
• Determining the emergent properties of a system to support trade-offs, optimisation, risk reduction and testing.
• Defining the verification and validation approach in order to achieve certification and acceptance of the systems.

The Naval Ships team: we design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, giving the customer capability to fulfil operations around the world.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you'll need to be on track to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in any STEM subject.
