Salary: £61,110

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be leading and working as part of an established systems engineering team in a highly regulated environment, working on key platforms / projects, both new concept and ongoing support to in service products and services
• You will be able to propose and develop engineering and business solutions to problems throughout our product development cycle. You will manage aspects of engineering, delivering them to high standards through ensuring good engineering practice and governance
• You will understand and manage the maturity of our engineering solutions as they develop, and you take corrective action to ensure our products are the best they can be
• You will collaborate with multiple functions (engineering, project management, human resources, etc.) and support our engineers through applying your engineering experience and knowledge

  Your skills and experiences:

  Essential:

  • Extensive experience of management and delivery of engineering projects

  • Experience of working with engineering tools and methods and to engineering standards in a highly regulated industry

  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills though identifying and resolving business challenges across the product lifecycle

  • Strong people management, leadership communication and IT skills

    Desirable:

    • Degree educated in a STEM subject or Chartered

    • Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets
