What You'll Be Doing:
  • Manage and administer the DOORS Classic database for Dreadnought Combat Systems.
  • Develop the DOORS database to tailor information for business reporting and the Acceptance process.
  • Support the Requirements and Acceptance Team in achieving Acceptance of the Dreadnought Combat System.
  • Guide engagements with stakeholders on developing toolset requirements to support the program throughout its lifecycle.
  • Enhance the engineering community's skills in using DOORS.
Your Skills and Experiences:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience with IBM Rational DOORS Classic 9.6/9.7 as a SME user or administrator, including Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) and Requirement Interchange Format (ReqIF).
  • Clear understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and managing requirements through to acceptance.
  • Significant experience in Systems Engineering .

Desirable:

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Enterprise Architect .
  • Understanding of engineering governance processes and strategies.
  • Knowledge of Combat Systems .

About the Requirements & Acceptance Team:

As a vital member of the Requirements & Acceptance Team, you'll contribute to delivering the Dreadnought Combat System, one of the UK's most critical defense programs. You'll shape processes that drive Requirements, Qualification, and Acceptance, guiding teams to achieve system assurance and operational readiness.
