Salary: £61,110

What you'll be doing:
  • The Service Delivery Managers hold the primary interface with the Air Sector Lines of Business on behalf of Design Development Test & Evaluation (DDT&E)
  • Responsible for the Programme Management of the projects that DDT&E discharges.
  • Capture and sequence New Business and Change requirements including accurate demand for Highly Probable and Probable work, providing harmonised DDT&E responses.
  • Work in conjunction with the Centres of Excellence to drive and improve performance, working with key stakeholders to understand and resolve issues along with the agreement and direction on prioritisation of work within DDT&E.
  • Accountable on behalf of DDT&E into the Line of Business and Air System Integration Team (ASIT) reviews and interactions.
  • Provide the combined DDT&E Cost, Schedule and Quality reporting for programmes within your area of responsibility through internal and external reviews
    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential
    • Experience of programme management on large complex projects
    • Knowledge and experience of Performance Measurement Baselines, Contract Status Reviews, Resource planning and Change Management
    • Knowledge and experience of Lifecycle Management and Technical Bid Reviews
    • Good relationship and leadership management across a large and varied stakeholder group
      Desirable
      • Knowledge of Engineering programmes

        The Service Delivery team:

        The Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) organisation is a 2,000+ strong engineering organisation delivering Engineering projects and more across multiple aircraft platforms including Typhoon, Tornado, Hawk, F35, FalconWorks and FCAS. There are 6 Centres of Excellence within DDT&E including; Test and Evaluation, Mission and Information Systems, Synthetic Training, Flight Sciences, Advanced Aerostructures and Operations. The Service Delivery team sits in the Operations team.
