Job title: Project Controller

Location: Warton - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683+ depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
  • Monthly status updates of the project schedules
  • Leading the weekly cost reviews with the sub teams across all major contracts & provide weekly / monthly costs analysis data to the sub team lead to support managerial analysis and forecasting
  • Utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to support the generation of monthly EV reports
  • Supporting the management of risks and opportunities using the Predict! toolset
  • Enacting Change Instructions in Compass/ Baseline Change Requests in the appropriate toolset
  • Providing support to bids and estimates by providing project control data (historical spend / performance / budget) to inform estimating activities
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the departmental resource picture as required
  • Working with the Project Control Lead, integration team and function to ensure all processes, toolsets and ways of working align with the functional governance structure and standards of working
    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:
    • IT literate in Microsoft systems with a sound understanding of project control principles, financial cost control
    • Strong communication skills - with the ability to articulate detail into an understandable summary / key message
    • Ability to undertake tasks with limited support
      Desirable:
      • Experience creating and maintaining project schedules and baselines
      • Financial Analysis / Numeracy - Able to work with large volume of data/ spread sheets
      • Motivated individual with personal drive and commitment. Especially in times of tight deadlines / Business needs

        The Europe & International (E&I) Project Control Team:

        You will be part of a team of professionals using world-class project control techniques, providing expertise to support the Project Control Lead for multiple teams in the delivery of large, high value, technically complex and strategically important programmes including Typhoon and Tornado. The Project Control Team is a dynamic team of highly skilled individuals who provide data and performance insights to assist with managing the programmes. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more senior positions within the business
