Job title: Project Manager

Salary: £54,743 - £59,711 depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading controlling and monitoring projects so that they are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plan and where necessary, intervening to resolve issues which threaten delivery to plan
  • Leading a multi-disciplined team ensuring that both the customers & business requirements are met
  • Develop & manage relationships with key stakeholders ensuring all deliverables are achieved and that issues are effectively addressed
  • Proactively manage emerging project risks and opportunities
    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:
    • Experience within a similar role working on complex projects including time, cost & quality management is required
    • Experience using project management methodologies
    • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation with strong stakeholder management experience is required
      Desirable:
      • A formal project management qualification or working towards with an appreciation of Agile PM fundamentals would be beneficial
      • Demonstrated ability to lead a team with previous management experience would be advantageous

        The Project team:

        You will be working at the forefront in the delivery of large, high value, technically complex and strategically important programmes. Our opportunities are broad and varied whether it be supporting next generation Tempest fighter aircraft or established in-service programmes such as F-35 and Typhoon.
