RF Design Engineer
Job title: RF Design Engineer
Location: Isle of Wight - Cowes - Part time & accruing hours available. Please let us know if you would like to discuss these options.
Salary: Up to £54,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:

Support RF circuit design including component selection, simulation, schematic capture and preparing guidance for PCB design teams

Support electromagnetic simulation and analysis

Contribute to design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques

Contribute to design documentation and technical reports

Support design evaluation and testing in our new engineering lab
Your skills and experiences:
-
A degree, HNC, or HND in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject/ industrial experience

An appetite for learning business approaches and procedures including standards for governance and compliance

The BAE Systems Naval Radar team:
BAE Systems Naval Radar provides Radar products and support services to a diverse range of customers worldwide. This role will provide engineering support as part of a team delivering capability upgrades to the Royal Navy over the next 10 years. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more senior positions within a global business
Our workplace in Cowes is an easily accessible commute from Southampton with a regular foot passenger ferry and BAE shuttle service from the ferry terminal to site
