Senior Cyber Certification Specialist (DCC)

Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
As a Senior Cyber Certification Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cyber security posture. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Lead complex cyber audits across SS EIT, documenting findings and presenting risk-based recommendations.
- Review and test security controls against internal and external frameworks, including Group cyber security standards and Cyber Essentials.
- Coordinate, plan, and schedule all re-assurance duties in line with Defstan requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate remediation plans and ensure timely closure.
- Advise management on emerging risks, control gaps, and strategies to enhance compliance.
- Support external accreditation activities to maintain our high standards.
Essential:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of the MOD Cyber Security Model, NIST 800-53, and Cyber Essentials.
- Familiarity with industry-recognized Cyber Security Standards and best practices, particularly in the context of HMG/Government Sector.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in data analytics using Excel and Tableau for automated reporting.
- CIST or CISM certification.
