Working in this role requires a good level of lateral thinking to identify, diagnose and resolve problems and faults across several engineering disciplines. This role benefits from not being restricted to one area, but allows the team to branch out into several domains including, but not limited to, infrastructure, software development and deployment, networking, database management and virtual containerisation

The Team
The team is part of the HALE (Home Affairs Law Enforcement) group of BAE DI. We work on site supporting critical national operational applications, systems and networks as well as developing new solutions to help tackle a broad variety of serious organised crime. We have been with this client for many years and work closely with their technical team to deliver the highest quality of backing to ensure consistent network stability and delivery of their critical infrastructure.
There is a wide variety of work, constantly evolving with new technology. The team undertakes constant opportunities to make a real difference working directly with the operational end users and partner agencies.
Ways of Working
- Due to the classification of the work, this role is on site for 5 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home occasionally.
- The work requires SC clearance to start, and the individual must be willing to go through MOD DV
