Apprentice Security Engineer Technician
Apprentice Security Engineer required to install and maintain Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control & Fire Alarm systems. Full training given, including college block release. Full UK driving licence is an advantage.
Role
You will be trained to install & maintain Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems.
This is an exciting and rewarding role for someone with a passion for engineering. Duties include:
- Installing, servicing & maintaining appropriate equipment
- Adhering to safe working practices & able to take instruction
- Using power tools, lifting, carrying & climbing ladders providing excellent customer service.
Training
The successful candidate will be fully supported by a workplace mentor while undertaking the Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship lasts 3 years and takes place at Banham Academy in Wimbledon, London. Training is delivered via block release with each block lasting 5 days. There are fifteen blocks in all.
On successful completion of the FESS apprenticeship, we aim to offer a full-time position as a qualified engineer within our company.
