PURPOSE OF THE ROLEWe're looking for a seasoned and strategic Lead Change Manager to join the BBC Product Group's Transformation team. This is a pivotal role driving forward our Product Strategy ambitions and shaping the future of how we deliver value to audiences through modern, product-led ways of working.
You'll lead a significant programme of change, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes with competing priorities to align transformation efforts with our strategic goals.
Drawing on your background in digital product organisations and possibly management consultancy, the ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of how to embed change in product environments that are fast paced, iterative, and customer focused. You will leverage expertise in digital transformation, product management, or tech startups to ensure we deliver impactful results.
You'll be a proactive leader, confident in challenging assumptions, proposing innovative solutions, and finding the right balance between creativity and pragmatism. You'll have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and can collaborate across diverse teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging throughout the transformation journey.
This role requires a self starter with a 'can do' approach, who is comfortable working at pace, and has the ability to turn complex problems into actionable solutions and next steps. You will be at ease with both technical and non technical experts and know how to collaborate with others to get the best results. We work in fast moving, often ambiguous environments, so we're looking for someone who can adapt quickly and can bring clarity and momentum when things are uncertain.
We offer flexible working arrangements, so you can find a balance that works best for you. Please indicate your preference in the flexible working question during your application. While there's no obligation to raise this at the application stage, we'll discuss flexible working options further during the offer stage.
