Lead Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

BDS are currently recruiting for a Lead Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to work as part of a team with a well-known Housing Association from there Kings Cross office.

We are looking for someone who must be technically hands on and understand how to test and set up test framework. You also must have strong communication skills as you will need to liaise with up to 20 3rd parties 3 external contractors and may have to have challenging conversations

Main duties include but are not limited too;

• Manage the technical delivery lifecycle for one or more project workstreams.
• Create and maintain delivery plans and dependencies, working in collaboration

with project managers, architects, engineering lead and partners leads

• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, managing scope, quality and ensure we

deliver projects on time and within scope

• Work closely with Engineering leads and partners to ensure solutions delivered is

aligned with our standards and best practices

• Remove delivery blockers and support team in problem solving and prioritisation
• Act as primary delivery point of contact for business stakeholders, project

managers and partners

• Translate business objectives into clear technical deliverables and timelines
• Communicate delivery progress, risks and dependencies with transparency
• Ensure alignment between business, engineering and partner teams
• Effectively work alongside QA engineers and business analyst to refine

acceptance criteria to ensure test coverage is aligned with business

expectations

• Provide support in validating data flows and integrations which are critical to

project success

The ideal candidate will have;

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies
• Experience co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Technical literacy across platforms and architecture concepts(Azure, APIs, Dynamics CRM, CI-CD)
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and understanding QA metrics, test strategies and governance
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negation skills
• Ability to balance technical depth with delivery pragmatism.

Hours- Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

Hybrid working- 2 days in the office, Tuesdays and Thursdays and 3 days from home

Pay Rate- pay up to £550 Outside IR35 for the right person

This is a initially a 6 month contract to start ASAP but could extend
