Data Technician Apprentice
This role contributes to improving data integrity across the organisation and helps teams make informed decisions by transforming raw data from spreadsheets, systems, PDFs and paper into structured, dependable formats ready for analysis and reporting.
Role
You will learn how to:
- Data collection, formatting, cleaning and standardisation
- Identifying and correcting errors including duplicates, inconsistencies, omissions, and misclassifications.
- Preparing datasets for reporting or further analysis
- Applying basic analytical techniques to organise and summarise data
- Utilising Excel, database tools and other software (as available) to manage data efficiently
- Support data governance, compliance and Cyber Security
- Handling data in a secure and ethical manner in line with organisational and legal requirements
Training
- The successful candidate may be chosen to have a full-time role after completing their apprenticeship
