Our Group Head Office, based in Woolsington, Newcastle Upon Tyne, is recruiting for an IT Apprentice.
Role
The role of IT Systems Apprentice reports to the Group Head of Infrastructure and assists the Infrastructure Team with infrastructure and technical maintenance tasks, as well as participating in projects covering a wide variety of disciplines in IT, including Security, Network, Cloud and on-prem Infrastructure.
You’ll learn:
- The fundamentals of how IT systems interact, such as how changes or problems server-side will impact end users
- Change management
- How a large business works with Public Cloud and on-prem infrastructure
- Troubleshooting techniques which will apply across a variety of career paths in IT
- How to prioritise different tasks and incidents ranging from low to critical, system down scenarios, and manage workload around priority
- The end-to-end process of a business needs to be addressed with an IT solution
- How to work effectively both independently and in a dynamic and responsive team
- Work and shadow our MSP building and maintaining systems onsite, with the chance to visit our divisional offices for maintenance work

- Your training will be delivered virtually by Baltic Apprenticeships
By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career along with practical experience and a nationally recognised qualification.
