ICT Apprentice
Kickstart your IT career! Gain hands-on experience in support, infrastructure, MS Entra, MS Intune, and Google Workspace. Responsibilities include resolving hardware/software issues, onboarding staff, and documentation. As you progress, you'll have the opportunity to lead your own projects.
Role
As an IT Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across IT support, infrastructure, and applications. Your responsibilities include:
- 1st and 2nd Line Support: Handle requests via the IT Helpdesk and assist staff with software, hardware, and network issues
- User Management: Manage and create users/groups within MS Entra and Google Workspace, including onboarding and offboarding staff
- System Maintenance: Install and configure computer hardware and software, and maintain Windows and Synology Servers
- Cross-Platform Support: Support a range of devices including Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux
Training
Training will take place at City College Norwich, Ipswich Road with attendance on a weekly basis.
Development into an IT Support Technician role, with possible progression to level 4 qualification.
