Design Apprentice
Join our close-knit design team as a Design Apprentice, shaping world-class Data Centres in the UK and abroad. Learn on the job alongside architects, engineers and BIM specialists while studying, building skills in design, BIM and off-site construction. Ideal for a motivated individual who loves tech and design.
Role
- Assist in the production and coordination of design information using BIM software such as Revit
- Support Design Managers and project teams in delivering design solutions across multiple projects
- Help maintain and update digital models, drawings and project documentation
- Attend design reviews, coordination meetings and project workshops
- Assist with the preparation of technical drawings, schedules and presentations
- Support the coordination of information between architects, engineers, consultants and contractors
- Learn and apply BIM standards, design processes and company procedures
- Assist in the development of innovative off-site construction solutions
- Contribute to continuous product improvement and standardisation initiatives
- Support the preparation of project deliverables across RIBA Stages 1 to 6
- Develop an understanding of construction regulations, health and safety requirements and industry best practice
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role and level of experience
- Occasional travel to projects, supplier facilities and industry events may be required
