Service Administrator (25 hours)

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Service Administrator for their client in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
This is a newly created role due to the company winning several new contracts, the growth of the company is exciting. You’ll Join the well-established team in their new modern office which has fantastic facilities and free car parking.
This will suit you if you are happy to commit to working short days due to your family commitments for example the school runs morning/afternoon or you may simply prefer to work part time.
You’ll enjoy a varied workload in a busy office and you’re flexible to help where you are needed within the team. You think on your feet and you’re a quick learner.
Daily you will manage inbound customer enquiries via the telephone and emails. Along with monitoring shared inboxes and customer portals, responding to requests and maintain accurate service records.
You must be confident and have excellent communication skills and be up to date with your IT literacy, this is a big part of the role.
Ideally, you are an all-round strong administrator who has worked in various departments covering data input, customers service, and reception or similar working environments.

- Manage inbound customer enquiries and breakdown requests via telephone and email, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of customer service.
- Monitor shared inboxes and customer portals, responding to requests and maintaining accurate service records.
- Arrange collections and logistics for customer parts and equipment.
- Source service parts, processed quotations and orders, and communicated updates to customers throughout the process.
- Maintain customer asset records and scheduled recurring service activities within company systems.
- Provide operational support and management cover during periods of annual leave, helping maintain service continuity.
- Assist with additional administrative and operational duties during peak workloads and holiday cover periods.
