Administrator

Project Administrator
Bridgwater, Somerset £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Immediate Start Contract until January 2027 Hybrid Working

We are recruiting for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to support a busy team delivering services to the prestigious Hinkley Point C project.

Unlike many opportunities associated with Hinkley Point C, this position is based from modern offices in Bridgwater rather than on the main construction site. This means no daily park-and-ride commute, no lengthy site access procedures, and a more traditional office-based working environment, whilst still offering the opportunity to support one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator seeking a long-term contract with an immediate start, working within an established and professional team.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the transition to a new Time & Attendance system, ensuring workforce information is accurately maintained and processed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting and maintaining workforce data within Time & Attendance systems
  • Supporting the migration to a new workforce management platform
  • Processing and validating attendance records
  • Producing reports and carrying out data accuracy checks
  • Maintaining employee records and project documentation
  • Assisting with timesheet and workforce administration activities
  • Responding to internal queries and supporting the wider project team
  • Providing general administrative support as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous administration experience within a busy office environment
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines

Experience with timesheet administration, payroll support, workforce management systems or attendance systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.

What's On Offer?

  • Immediate start available
  • Weekly pay each Friday
  • Contract expected to run until January 2027, with potential for extension
  • Hybrid working arrangement: 4 days in the Bridgwater office, 1 day working from home
  • Competitive rate of £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) paid on an Umbrella PAYE basis.
  • Opportunity to gain experience supporting the Hinkley Point C project
  • Office-based location away from the main construction site

This role could suit an Administrator, Project Administrator, Workforce Administrator, Timesheet Administrator, Payroll Administrator, Data Administrator or Office Administrator looking for their next contract opportunity in the Bridgwater area.
