We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director - Full Stack Developer to join our Loans enablement Platform engineering team. This role is located in London or Manchester. 

\n

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

\n

\n
• \nLead architecture design and review across multiple pods, ensuring best practices and high-quality solutions.\n

\n

• \nMentor junior developers on software design, clean code, use of AI coding assistants, programming practices, and career development.\n

\n

• \nDevelop rapid, working prototype code to serve as a reference for engineering teams.\n

\n

• \nDirectly participate in building, testing, and deploying engineering solutions. Applicants should have a recent track record of hands-on technical leadership and execution within engineering teams.\n

\n

• \nInfluence and guide non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resiliency, and recoverability.\n

\n

• \nPromote modern development practices such as reactive/non-blocking programming and contract-first API design.\n

\n

• \nPresent architecture designs to stakeholders at various levels.\n

\n

• \nPromote successful adoption of AI Software Development tooling.\n

\n\n

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

\n

\n
• \nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus\n

\n

• \nSignificant experience in software development required with a strong background in full-stack development and proficiency in architecture\n

\n

• \nExperience in the securities, financial services or tech industry is a plus\n

\n

• \nProficiency in Java, SQL, REST APIs, and Streaming APIs\n

\n

• \nExperience with cloud platforms, containers, and microservices architecture\n

\n

• \nKnowledge of NoSQL database technologies\n

\n

• \nExpertise in workflow technologies such as Camunda 7 & 8 and JBPM is a plus\n

\n

• \nExperience with emerging technologies, including GenAI integration and AI Software Development tooling\n

\n\n
