QC Analyst

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable for improving quality, compliance and embracing good quality culture within the laboratories. Working with commitment with the Pharmaceutical Quality System that is in place by following procedures and always maintaining the integrity of all laboratory data.

• To be responsible for the raw material/Finished Product and packaging components booking in sampling and testing process.
• To test and report results to GMP standards as per company SOP's.
• To perform routine physical testing as per approved methods.
• To calibrate and maintain equipment in the laboratories.
• To troubleshoot routine laboratory issues when they arise.
• To operate standard laboratory instruments including HPLC, GC, Auto titrator, UV spectrometer and Dissolution apparatus.
• To maintain laboratories to GMP standards.
• To routinely test raw materials, finished product, stability samples and investigational samples using analytical techniques.
• Sample booking in and collection for routine analysis.
• Managing FP team consumables needs.
• Support, engage with and implement continuous improvement projects in QC department and collaborate with other departments for site projects.
• Adherence to laboratory compliance with internal, external and regulatory requirements for Quality Control Finished Product/Raw Material testing.
• Any other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
• A good understanding of GMP.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Cost conscious.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment for 1-2 years is desirable.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Passion for Continuous Improvement.
• Sets and resets priorities to remain focused on objectives in rapidly changing circumstances.
• Basic understanding of statistics and its application to experimental work.
