Senior Reporting & Analytics Consultant (SAP BDC)
We're looking for a senior-level Reporting & Analytics Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions for retail clients. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, data modelling, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and related technologies.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design of scalable reporting architectures across BDC, SAC, and DataSphere
- Translate complex business requirements into robust data models and analytics solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise across SAP analytics, including PAPM and Joule
- Oversee solution quality, ensuring alignment with business needs and user stories
- Drive integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms, working with internal and external teams
- Guide testing strategy (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and data migration
- Support business readiness through training, change, and knowledge transfer
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across business and IT
What You Bring
- Extensive experience delivering SAP BDC and analytics solutions in retail environments
- Deep expertise in data architecture, modelling, and reporting within SAP ecosystems
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAC, DataSphere, Databricks, and BW/4HANA
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA data structures and finance reporting
- Proven track record operating in complex, multi-stakeholder programmes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Desirable
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks (eg SAP Activate)
