Solutions Architect - Cloud & On-Premise Solutions
Hybrid 3 days a week together out of our London, Birmingham or Bristol offices (flexible 2 days remote wherever). You’ll work closely with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to ensure our solutions fit seamlessly within BT’s ecosystem, making a real impact from day one. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team where your expertise will help drive transformation and deliver value across the business. What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing solution architectures, with a particular focus on ServiceNow within the telecom domain.
- Collaborating with Enterprise Architects and other teams to deliver robust, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensuring architectural solutions integrate smoothly with BT’s systems and processes.
- Producing high-quality design artefacts, including HLDs, UML diagrams, and sequence flows.
- Leading end-to-end architecture and solution design for telecom service transformation programmes.
- Supporting the early stages of projects, including shaping scope, roadmaps, and business cases.
- Developing reusable design patterns and frameworks in line with industry standards.
- Strong experience in Telecom OSS/BSS and solution architecture.
- In-depth technical knowledge of telecom, especially with ServiceNow (including ITSM and CSM modules).
- Solid understanding of TMF Open APIs (e.g., TMF620, TMF622, TMF632, TMF637, TMF674, TMF679, TMF651).
- Experience with product modelling, inventory design, and diagnostics workflows.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as eTOM, SID, TAM, ITIL, and agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, ARIS, Draw.io).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to start delivering value immediately, with minimal coaching.
- TMForum certification would be a bonus.
