IT Auditor – £50,000 to £58,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefit(Hybrid – Midlands Based, with travel to Ashby once a week)Are you an ambitious IT Auditor looking for the chance to shape and grow an in-house IT audit function? This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-visibility role, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive improvements in IT risk management and cybersecurity.In the Role as an IT Auditor, you’ll be central to building the organisation’s IT audit capability from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of Group Audit, you’ll:
  • Lead on IT audits – planning, fieldwork, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and map out the IT audit universe and associated risks.
  • Contribute to shaping the in-house IT audit strategy and plan.
  • Support the annual NIST Cyber Security Framework audit.
  • Be involved in investigations and whistleblowing matters relating to IT.
This is not a “tick-box” role – it’s a chance to make a real impact in a growing function that has strong board-level support.About You We’re looking for someone who is hungry to develop, confident working with stakeholders, and able to explain technical findings in a clear, practical way. You’ll bring:
  • A strong grounding in IT audit, including knowledge of IT General Controls and ideally exposure to the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Either a completed CISA qualification or a commitment to completing it (with funding support available).
  • Experience from practice (e.g. risk advisory or IT audit) or from industry where you’ve undertaken IT audit work.
  • The ability to adapt, learn, and get stuck in – this is a growing function, not a finished product.

  • Salary of £50,000 – £58,000 + up to 10% bonus.
  • 10% employer pension contribution (with a 5% employee contribution).
