Head of IT / IT Manager Nottingham City Centre (100% office-based) £55,000 – £65,000 + bonusIf you’re an experienced IT Manager or Head of IT looking for a role where you can take full ownership of the IT function, lead a team, and drive real operational improvements — this is a position where you can genuinely make an impact.We’re working with a well-established, multi-site business with a strong market presence and a reputation for stability and long-term growth.The Opportunity: This Head of IT / IT Manager role is a hands-on leadership position with full responsibility for IT across a business operating 60+ sites nationwide.You’ll lead a team of 5 and take ownership of:
- IT infrastructure and network performance
- Microsoft environment (O365, servers, Active Directory)
- Connectivity across multiple sites
- Systems security, backups, and resilience
- Telecoms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Ensuring reliable connectivity across all sites (business-critical)
- Leading and developing a small, established IT team
- Managing 3rd party suppliers and service providers
- Driving automation and efficiency improvements
- Supporting a mix of modern and legacy systems
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and reduce manual processes
- Proven experience as an IT Manager / Head of IT / Infrastructure Manager
- Strong Microsoft stack (O365, Active Directory, servers)
- Solid networking experience (Cisco, Meraki, routers)
- Ideally, experience in a multi-site environment
- Experience managing a small team
- Comfortable being both hands-on and strategic
- Full ownership of IT across a multi-site business
- Stable, well-funded organisation
