The role
As an Engineering Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll drive best practices in nuclear engineering and work with senior stakeholders across Naval and Civil Nuclear sectors, leading improvements and implementing engineering management arrangements to enhance industry standards.
Day-to-day, you’ll drive engineering excellence in the Nuclear Sector. This role focuses on advancing sector-wide engineering maturity, implementing engineering management arrangements and the engineering framework. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of engineering, sharing best practices, and overcoming key challenges to ensure readiness for future demands.
Drive effective implementation of engineering management arrangements.
Assess engineering manuals' maturity for compliance and efficiency.
Oversee business management system deviations for streamlined operations.
Support capability maturity modelling to strengthen engineering strategies.
Enhance engineering performance monitoring for continuous improvement.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Engineering Analyst
Deep understanding of systems engineering principles and experience in high-risk, regulated industries.
Confident communicator, engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to influence and guide senior business and enterprise leaders across the Nuclear Sector.
Resilient and adaptable, with solid knowledge of change and project management principles.
Proactive self-starter, capable of identifying and executing tasks independently.
Qualifications for the Engineering Analyst
• Degree level or higher in a STEM discipline.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
